Beginning in 2013, PSP teamed up with Houston Pizza Venture to activate local team partnerships. In 2014, PSP initiated and helped to launch Papa John’s Houston’s first athlete endorsement with the most recognizable face in Houston sports, JJ Watt. Following the initial success of #JJDelivers in the local market, PSP transitioned Watt into a national endorsement partner for Papa John’s. PSP also added James Harden and Jose Altuve to Papa John’s impressive all-star roster of Houston talent, resulting in exceptional content and amplification of the Papa John’s brand.
